Client Profiles

In addition to creating complete Web sites and related solutions, we are also frequently called upon to augment an existing site to add database functionality, integration with internal systems, or to incorporate business process capabilities. The examples below demonstrate eBusiness Technology's range of solutions for web design, web-based applications, custom programming and integration. The versatility of our robust solutions is capable of addressing both large and small business needs and budgets.

Web Design:
Fenceplace required an update to a first generation website that more effectively communicated its leadership in the fence products market. The design features attractive product images, a powerful marketing message and clear navigation to the product catalog:

CarePlus NJ envisioned a comprehensive redesigned site to communicate with possible community clients and donors. This site features a Flash element, a "News" scroll and mental health tips rolling at the bottom of the home page. The site is database driven, and content is easily editable by CarePlus staff through our powerful Content Management System:

Pre-built web-based applications:
"Buy Supplies Now" offers a dedicated e-commerce catalog of their various cleaning products. We incorporated a fully functional product catalog including merchant gateway for credit card processing and automated UPS shipping calculations. A recent redesign was implemented to promote a new line of "green", Earth-friendly cleaning products.

RBG DesignBuild provides a complete service to design and build custom homes. In order to enhance their services, they required a Web-based database where customers can securely access their home plans, construction status, photos etc. This has become a major selling feature for RBG. The site also incorporates one of our standard, low-cost Web design templates. Although much of the site is password protected, you can visit them at:

Custom Web-based programming:
Signature Crafts required a comprehensive web presence that was consumer friendly for customers of its craft glue products. Detailed product information is provided together with an intelligent store locator that helps choose the nearest location carrying the specific product. This site helps users pick the right glue for the project with its interactive glue guide. Our custom solution provides Signature Crafts with a unique and valuable tool for its customers.

Tamron USA markets photographic lenses and equipment under the Tamron and Bronica brands. While standard Web design is done internally, they needed assistance to added Web-based processes in areas of custom Web-forms, user photo gallery, protected areas for dealer and rep information, and subscriptions to their email newsletter (e-Viewfinder). The subscription process feeds a database to manage the newsletter process and subscriber preferences.  A recent addition provides customers with an online, warranty registration process that is integrated with their internal computer system.

Web Integration:
The Ballantine Corporation provides a full range of printing services, running their sales and production from a proprietary MS Access based application. They communicated with printing partners via daily faxes that were prone to errors and inefficiencies of manual data entry. eBusiness Technology implemented a complete Web-based process to manage print-job quotes and job schedule updates integrated with their internal system. Their business partners and customers now have access to all information and entry of data via a protected web site (
www.ballantinelitho.com). Read more about the company and process at www.ballantine.com (see "Production Software" link).

The Economist needed a Web-based process, distinct from their main Web site, to support a specific promotional campaign focused on the academic community. The custom Web site, along with providing information, allows students and professors to order subscriptions and converts the data to a required format for automatic processing by their fulfillment partner.

Database Integration:
Seppic Inc. distributes chemical products and needed to improve communications to their dispersed sales staff. We developed a sample tracking database that automatically updates data to the appropriate rep via an existing contact management system.

SKF International is a major distributor of garment products to retail stores. eBusiness Technology enhanced various business transactions between their MAS90 accounting system and their EDI service. Important date, pricing and shipping information is now automated to improve the data and eliminate manual processes. This includes the automation of an EDI shipment notification process.
